Demand for quality steel is high and our client is continuously growing, searching for hands-on construction professionals to join the boilermaker team. Our successful client based in Melbourne's north fabricate a range of products including structural steel beams, columns, plates, T bars and much more!

Your new role

You will be in the workshop responsible for the welding and fabrication of structural steel, reading shop drawings and complying with the high quality standards of the company. Overall you will be building specialised structures for a number of civil and commercial projects around Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for highly skilled structural boilermakers looking to join a rapidly growing and successful company long term.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a high work ethic and an interest in continuing to build upon your skills, and you will also have;

• Cert III or IV in Engineering Fabrication
• Minimum 2 years experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication
• Strong ability to read plans/drawings
• Strong focus on attention to detail
• Strong ability to stay productive whilst working autonomously
