A 3-month contract position has become available within state government for a Water Regulation Officer.
Your new company
This State Government Agency based in Western Sydney work on pivotal water resource planning projects within NSW and are looking to bring on a Water Regulation Officer to aid with increased workload.
Your new role
The Regulation Officer will have the ability to assess and make approval decisions required on a range of integrated development and controlled activity approvals. You will be integral part of the reviewal of various Environmental Impact Assessments. You will assist with the preparation of different reports, while also contributing to the development and maintenance of systems currently in place.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have an excellent understanding of various environmental factors and their direct impact on the Planning space. The ideal candidate will have statutory NSW government experience and be able to manage projects and identify issues arising. Within this role you will be working on some of the more complex and contentious projects therefore experience assessing a broad range of developments is vital.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a highly competitive salary of $50-56 per hour + Super dependant on experience as well as an initial 3-month contract.
