Your new role
The company has a new opportunity as a Unit Project Coordinator for the Biosecurity (Weed & Pest Animals) Unit based within the Southeast Queensland region.
This role will be responsible for overseeing projects and the operational requirements within the South East
Queensland Region including several projects further abroad the state.
The successful applicant will have a proven demonstration of operational management within both sectors; however, this opportunity also exists to a person who has high level of experience within in one sector and is willing to gain and expand knowledge within the second sector.
The position requires exceptional client engagement skills including current client development, managing staff in a team environment with a focus on quality of works, understanding of budgets and tender submission.
What you'll need to succeed
The project coordinator will be required to perform several functions within the company. The team member will have the following qualifications and experience:
What you'll get in return
- Relevant tertiary qualification in environmental management, environmental science, planning, engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in land regeneration/ rehabilitation
- Experience in project management
- Experience in coordinating staff (rostering/performance)
Managers will have a monthly and end of finical year bonus scheme. A company car will also be provided for relevant site visits when required.
