My client is a global manufacturing organisation located in Welshpool. They provide hydraulic products and services to the WA mining and Oil and Gas industry Australia wide. Due to recent growth, this organisation is seeking a Mine Technician Trainer to join their team.
Your new role
This client is looking for an experienced individual to train and asses Mine technicians to the required national competency. In this role, you will be responsible for the training and development of in-house technicians and customers alike, educating them on a variety of instruments and strategies surrounding customer service. You will be responsible for all aspects of training and performance coaching including the development of training policies and procedures. You will work with both new hires and the existing teams to build out their industry knowledge and skills. As the training officer you will be required to both facilitate and take part in the creation of numerous learning modules in alignment with agency requirements. Attention to detail and strong stakeholder engagement is key to the success in this role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a passion for Training & Development and previous experience training and developing teams, you will thrive on the success of the team and the business. Your previous experience and qualifications in training, coupled with your background in a manufacturing environment will ensure your ability to train and coach employees.
Experience in a similar role is pivotal to your success. Additionally, you will have:
- A Certificate in Training and Assessment
- Mechanical trade qualifications
- Great organisational skills
- Be able to work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Actively lead by example with zero harm standards
- Experience working with ISO accreditations
- Highly motivated, reliable, and demonstrated decision-making skills.
- Computer proficiency
