This is a remote opportunity working for a telecommunications company in Meekatharra. Ideally looking for a tech, networking or telecoms background.
Your New Role
You will be the company representative for WA based in the remote town of Meekatharra with a population of only 700. The company has a global footprint with an American head office. They provide remote satellite support and solutions for businesses, corporates and individuals. With the growth in IoT, tracking, equipment monitoring and other remote activities this organisation is relied upon to provide critical supporting infrastructure.
What You’ll need to succeed
Due to the remote location it is essential that you are comfortable living and working in a remote community. You will be responsible for maintenance of existing equipment, constant upgrade and installation projects as well as coordinating works that might be performed by third party vendors or field reps. The technology, telecoms and networking part of the job are most important but if you have an electrical or mechanical background and a desire to upskill and live in Meekatharra your application would be considered.
To be considered for the role you will need ti be happy working in a remote community. Ideally you will come from a trades background and able to perform telecoms work and IT networking skills. On top of this you should have: -
- Problem solving skills
- Customer service experience
- Technical expertise
- Ability to perform manual work
- Driving Licence
