Your new company
The Service Management and Monitoring Technologies Team (SMMT) is responsible for enterprise monitoring, logging and service management projects and products. You will join a newly established squad within this Big 4 Bank to assist in rolling out a new software configuration product across the bank, which will also involve assisting in the ongoing patching and maintenance of the database.
Your new role
As a Technical BA, you will gather and analyse business requirements through requirements elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration. Some of your ongoing duties will include:
- Analyse and document business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools
- Convert business needs into functional design using knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge and architecture
- Provide support and participate in testing activities including unit testing, BA testing and system testing
- Evaluate effectiveness of solution delivery (SDLC) tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3 - 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Financial Services background
- Experience with system configuration software, e.g. patching, software management, stacks
- Experience using software configuration management tools, such as SCCM and/or Tanium
