Your new role
We are seeking a qualified Surveyor to cover sites from South Brisbane to Tweed Heads on a full-time permanent basis. In this role you will work with construction and civil project managers across all aspects of our project build.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Interpret and process design data received from the designers to be able to be used for setting out on site
- Raise and follow up RFI’s for queries regarding design data and other construction issues
- Setting out underground infrastructure services, bulk excavations, road surfaces and other civil components as required
- The collection of the as built location of all services installed on site
- Processing the collected as built data into both electronic and hard copy formats suitable for submission to the relevant local authorities as well as records to be stored on each of the project sites
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant formal qualifications in Surveying
- 3-5 years surveying experience in the civil construction sector
- Previous experience with Trimble GPS, Total stations and Data recorders
- Experience in the interpreting and processing survey data from design engineers
- Experience in setting out underground infrastructure services, bulk excavations, road surfaces and other civil components
- Experience in the collection of the as built location of all services installed on site
- Competent in the use of 12d Model, TBC and AutoCAD
- Experience in processing collected as built data into both electronic and hard copy formats suitable for submission to the relevant local authorities as well as records to be stored on each of the project sites
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
