This family-owned Australian company within the School wear industry are currently recruiting for a State Sales Manager. This role exists to manage and drive sales for Tasmanian clients as well as build new relationships to successfully create new business.
Your new role
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the State Sales Manager will be a driven, self-motivated sales expert that can work autonomously while travelling to service clients face to face throughout Tasmania. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Strengthening relationships with loyal existing clients and building new relationships showing successful business development management
- Reviewing the regions sales performance whilst analysing sales data through excel to overall improve return on sale for the business
- Through learnt product knowledge, understanding the range available as well as design and development of new product is an integral part of this position
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you’ll have a result driven mindset and experience within the clothing, school wear or safety wear industry. You’ll also have the following;
- Seamless communication and interpersonal skills, to communicate and be the point of contact for 50 existing clients using a warm and personable approach
- Experience in a role that requires high touch, face to face sales with proven experience winning new accounts, negotiation, and product ranging
- Proactive nature, with high level of initiative and attention to detail
- High level of computer competency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- The successful candidate will set up an ABN and run their business from home. They will supply their own motor vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone. All garment samples and marketing material will be provided by the company as well as attendance of exhibitions or any other area of marketing for promotion
