State Operations Co-ordinator

Exciting 12 month contract for an experienced, highly organised Administrator to start immediately part time.

Your new company
Hays Office Support are working with a large medical business who have multiple practice locations across Hobart. They are seeking an experienced State Operations Co-ordinator to join their team immediately on a part time basis, 3 days a week for a 12 month contract.

Your new role
As the State Operations Co-ordinator you’ll be responsible for the administration support for head office in the Hobart CBD, you’ll be the main point of reference, coordinating and liaising with the State manager and Practice Manager to ensure the operational and financial targets of the general practices are met. Along with providing a high level of support to the State Manager, you’ll be required to complete duties such as:
  • General reception duties
  • Organise travel arrangements for staff
  • Monitoring and actioning the general enquires inbox
  • Ordering supplies as required eg stationary, uniforms, name badges, marketing material etc.
  • Maintenance of the annual leave calendar
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, distribute agendas and take minutes
  • Accounts payable
  • Other administrative tasks as required

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you’ll have demonstrated experience in a Medical Administration role. You’ll have the flexibility to work across various practice locations in Hobart. Along with your strong previous work history you’ll also have:
  • Adaptability, initiative and the ability to think ahead
  • Ability to work well under pressure, balancing competing demands and interruptions
  • Strong knowledge across software packages including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • A consistently pleasant and friendly phone manner
  • The ability to work autonomously and have a proactive nature.
