Our client is a well-established and respected organisation working in the health industry and based centrally on the Gold Coast. This exciting opportunity will see a true HR generalist supporting their HR function business-wide and will provide the ability to cause pivotal change by taking charge of the company culture. This position is a full-time permanent role but does allow for certain flexibility in hours depending on the right person’s needs.
Your new role
This is a standalone HR role which reports directly into the General Manager and will have you ensuring the business attracts and retains the right staff. Your responsibilities would include (but not be limited to):
- Developing a successful recruitment strategy
- Conducting inductions and running the onboarding process
- Developing succession plans with senior management
- Being the primary contact for any HR related matters or queries
- Conducting the exit process for employees as needed
- Developing staff retention strategies
- Knowledge of HR legislation and policies and implementing the HR framework
- Managing performance review and disciplinary actions
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 5 years of relevant HR experience
- A real passion for change and proactively encouraging new and bold ideas
- Experience with end-to-end recruitment
- Experience with performance management and disciplinary action
- Strong communication, admin and computer skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
