Hays Trades & Labour are working with a one of Tasmania’s leading local construction companies. Your new company is a Tasmanian, family owned, National Construction, Earth Moving, Mining Company.
Your new role
As a Site Supervisor with this company, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of sites to ensure that construction works are completed on-time, within budget, contract conditions are met, and achieve quality standards. You will need to manage the construction site effectively and safely, and work along site the Project Manager.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this Site Supervisor position, you will need:
- 10 plus years in the Construction Industry
- Strong relationship building skills
- Sound knowledge and experience in financial management and maintaining a budget
- Leadership qualities
- Sound computer skills
- Work well with other Civil Supervisors in the company
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Civil Construction
Qualifications:
- White Card
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction (Supervision or Operations) and/ or a relevant Trade Certificate
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Forklift, Scaffolding, Dogman, Rigger certificate
- Driver’s licence and Medium Rigid Truck Licence
- Other Civil licences and tickets are desirable
Desirable Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma in General Constriction or progressing towards Diploma in Management
- Qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance
- Advanced Traffic Management
- Conflict Resolution Training
- Time Management Training
