Our client is a locally owned and operated business in Airlie Beach with a mission to provide their customers and clients with the best quality and affordable services. Our client is looking for a crucial position within their business, a Service Manager.

Your new role
This new role will see you

• Control the workshop day to day bookings to achieve maximum efficiency
• Providing leadership, direction and supervision to employees in the service department.
• Investigate and eliminate practices that waste supplies, utilities, space and time.
• Regular reporting of department’s actual sales performance against set targets.
• Recruiting, selecting and training of service staff.
• Examine “come back” repair orders, to identify and eliminate issues that create rework.
• Ensuring department staffing and skill levels are maintained at appropriate levels for profitability, customer satisfaction and future growth.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in line with Company policy, following approved processes, procedures, and in compliance with all Manufacturer requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position will hold the following:

• Minimum 3 years management experienced
• Demonstrated strong leadership & team management experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of computer literacy
• Strong mechanical knowledge / and or trade qualification

What you'll get in return
You will work with a family owned and run business on a Monday to Friday basis in Airlie Beach. You may be required to work overtime in busy periods. This position is full time permanent and you will feel like working as a family, rather than a number on a page.
