Your new company
This NSW State Government organisation is currently looking for a Service Desk Manager to lead their ICT staff. This agency is based in Sydney CBD, and there will be no WFH due to the nature of the work. This is a 10month contract going until end of June 2023 and might extend further than this.
Your new role
In this role you will lead a small ICT Support team. You will have prior experience leading a service desk team and working across project management, stakeholder management, process improvement, ITSM, create rosters / coordinate resources, incident management and be willing to be hands on and take IT Support calls when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3-5 years as a Service Desk Manager
- Documentation experience
- Project management experience
- Experience managing high priority incidents
- Experience managing knowledge base
- Have good understanding of MS Servers, networking and telephony
- Understand ITSM terminology and processes
- Experience delivering user training
- Experience in IT processes, automation, and workflow
- Process improvement
- Provide IT Support to end users when required
