A large system integrator managing many Government contracts has been at the forefront of global mobile communications and is the market leading provider of voice and high-speed data communications.

Your new role
  • Leading the Service Desk function with a strong focus upon delivering best service desk support, driving incident and request management to meet SLAs and customer delight.
  • Promoting a strong ethos of customer satisfaction through responsive, professional, informative and considered interaction with clients across all medium.
  • Set clear objectives for the team, directly linked to company and department goals and critical success factors.
  • Drive operational excellence, through expertise, insight and governance to embed a robust operating model
  • Promote the adoption of, and adherence to and ongoing development of ITIL based processes to create a consistently executed approach and outcome for the operations.
  • Creation and reporting of team key performance indicators.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Significant experience of managing a small to medium multi-site technical service desk.
  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider environment, supporting multiple infrastructures.
  • Strong mentoring skills
  • Knowledge or certification in ITIL service operation
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and maintaining professional
    relationships.
  • Advance communication skills, both verbal and written, able to communicate across all
    levels
  • AU Citizens only. Should be able to hold a security clearance.
  • Experience of working with government entities.
