Service Desk Analyst, $500 -$600 per day, Redfern

This government organisation is currently seeking a pro-active, solution focused Service Desk Analyst to join the team on a contract basis. This organisation is based in Redfern. They require someone to provide face to face and remote troubleshooting for desktop users.

Your new role
As a Service Desk Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining Microsoft windows 10 operating systems and support running workstations. You will be able to assist in preparing relevant work instructions and knowledge base material for known errors. You will have excellent communication skills and become part of an exciting team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Provide face to face and remote troubleshooting for desktop devices using current diagnostic techniques
  • Level 1.5 support
  • Provide system administration tasks in an on premises active directory environment.
  • Ensure the end-user environment operates effectively through:
    • Prompt incident response.
    • Rapid return to service from incidents.
    • Low-impact technical change management.
  • Ensure monitoring tools provided operate effectively and take corrective action to ensure their performance to specification
  • Provide face to face and remote troubleshooting for desktop devices using current diagnostic techniques
  • Provide system administration tasks in an on premises active directory environment.
  • Maintain Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems, support, configuration, and reimaging workstations running in this environment.
  • Assist in preparing relevant work instructions and knowledge base material for known errors and routine support tasks to support resolution of routine and ongoing issues
  • Accept, resolve, and close out incidents and service requests assigned by the service desk.


What you'll get in return
  • $500-$600 +super day rate
  • 11-month contract with potential to extend
