Your new Townsville based company is a care provider specialising in supporting individuals living with disabilities, mental health, aged care and Veterans. Your new role
- Demonstrate an understanding of relevant legislations, policies and procedures (NDIS practice standards, Disability Services Act and standards, Work Health and Safety and Equal Opportunity, and risk management principles).
- Manage and mentor staff with a focus on delivering a person-centred approach.
- Rostering staff and reporting to the General Manager
- Administrative tasks such as maintaining participant records, stakeholder engagement and keeping on top of financial management to ensure vacancies are met and services are delivered.
- Quality management and improvement in quality standards and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant Primary Health, Allied Health, Business or Community and Social Service qualification and/or equivalent experience in Disability or Aged Care
- Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills in a high-volume role
- Experience in rostering
- Management and supervisory experience with the ability to implement staff training and development
- Be able to participate in an on-call roster and duties to cover care provider shifts
What you'll get in return
- Full-time, Permanent position based in Townsville
- $70-105k salary (including super)
