Your new company
This Brisbane based company operates across the country delivers a range of services in their niche sector. They are currently seeking a talented Senior Payroll Officer to join their small payroll team on a full-time permanent basis who will be involved in all things payroll. Their offices are based in Brisbane City Fringe, close to train, buses and ferries and they also offer a few days work from home once training is complete.

Your new role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Setting up new employees on the payroll systems
• Fortnightly payroll processing
• Performing payroll reconciliations
• Liaising with employees regarding payroll queries
• Assisting with terminations, allowances, and redundancies
• Assisting with payroll reporting

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• Previous experience working in an end-to-end payroll position in a medium to high volume payroll environment
• Strong award and EBA knowledge
• Enjoys working in a collaborative small payroll team environment
• Exceptional communication skills and natural ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
