This firm goes beyond just managing OC's, they partner with top developers providing best practice advice through the construction process and assist in establishing the OC. They have a very well structured organisation, ensuring extensive support is provided throughout the business with large administration teams, accountants, in-house FM team and onsite building management teams. A new position has become available for a Senior Owners Corporation Assistant to support one Senior OC Manager on an exciting portfolio made up of 4 reputable assets.

Your new role
In your new role, you will provide Owners Corporation support for one Senior OC Manager on a premium portfolio made up of 4 A-grade high-rise assets. In your role you will have the below responsibilities:
  • Managing insurance matters
  • Corresponding with key stakeholders such as owners, contractors, building managers and other 3rd parties;
  • Assist with proposing new budgets each financial year;
  • Organising the AGM, and sending out related notices, nominations etc;
  • Managing Committee issues, including calling of Committee Meetings and issuing Minutes of those meetings;
  • Advising owners on matters of Body Corporate law and procedure and;
  • Managing any dispute and resolutions that may arise
  • General administrative duties
  • Identify areas for improvement within the administrative support process and develop and implement new strategies to improve efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will possess some experience within Owners Corporation and will be someone who genuinely likes to assist others. You will also have the following:

  • Experience as an Owners Corporation Administrator/Assistant or experience as an Owners Corporation Manager and looking to step away from OC portfolio management responsibilities
  • Attention to detail & accuracy
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Genuinely happy to assist and train others
  • Strong understanding of the Owners Corporation Act
