As such, this business is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join their team at their Tullamarine office.

Your new role

As an Operations Supervisor with this business, you will:

• Report directly to the Operations Manager to assist in managing and assigning daily tasks throughout the warehouse
• Actively lead the team to achieve targeted KPI’s
• Maintain and keep up to date documents to assist in servicing dynamic customer needs
• Oversee timely processing of all inbound and outbound activities
• Actively supervise and monitor the performance of employees to ensure OH&S standards and procedures are upheld
• Supervise transport and distribution flow throughout the warehouse
• Provide on-the-job training of staff
• Perform inventory reconciliation whilst conducting regular cycle counts
• Assist the Country Manager in the implementation of improvement projects
• Participate in customer meetings and manage 3PL liaison

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse operations environment
• Excellent WMS knowledge
• Sound understanding of customer satisfaction
• Strong leadership skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong experience in 3PL liaison and transport operations
• The ability to generate accurate inventory points whilst being confident in stock reconciliation
