This State Government Agency based in Central Sydney, is focused on providing sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective transport services to the greater Sydney area. Completing work on pivotal projects within wider NSW, they are looking to bring on an experienced Senior Geospatial Officer to assist with increased workload in the initial stages of an exciting new project.

Your new role
The Senior Geospatial Officer will provide a range of analysis and advise to members of the current team as well as working to identify, investigate, develop, and maintain system innovations in line with industry practises. You will liaise closely with GIS staff, project teams and relevant external parties while providing practical and sustainable solutions to problems met across key projects.

This role is on a 12-month contract basis so could suit a consultant looking to get experience in the state government space or someone looking for a change.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have a strong understanding and experience in FME including configuration to operate with SmallWorld GIS to export, load, manipulate and modify data as required. Candidates can come from a Local, State or Private background once they have worked closely alongside Government Authorities with several years of relevant experience.
