Join one of Australia’s leading General Insurance companies which has a renowned workplace culture and additional benefits for employees to explore. Based in the Sydney CBD, our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a 9 month fixed term contract, with the potential to go permanent.

Your new role

The primary purpose of this role is to prepare accurate and timely financial information for key stakeholders and collaborate with the broader team. In addition, the role will require you to:

• Prepare reporting, analysis and presentations for Senior Management, the Board and wider business.
• Prepare competitor benchmarking analysis.
• Participate in the annual planning process, including accurate and timely delivery of 3 year budget.
• Participate in the strategic and planning dialogue process.
• Prepare related financial analysis and presentations as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, along with being CA/ CPA qualified.
• Experience in the General Insurance industry.
• Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations.
• Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.

What you'll get in return

This role provides great exposure across multiple business functions. This role is for a 9 month term paying between $500 - $700/ day (incl super).
