Your new company
You will be working an emerging major producer of rare earth minerals. They have an extensive resource portfolio across multiple different projects around the state. This exciting organization have a world class project underway and are currently conducting approvals and environmental planning for the project to commence construction in 2024.
Your new role
The Environmental Planner will be reviewing environmental impact assessments and writing chapters of the EES. This role will assist the company prepare an Environmental Effects Statement (EES)/ (environmental approval) for a Mine in Victoria. You will be managing technical consultants who will be conducting the environmental studies and will also be required to take part in some overall project management. This role will be remotely based and primarily be working from home.
What you'll need to succeed
What you'll get in return
- 5 + years’ experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with the Victorian Government Mining approval systems
- Science or Engineering background
- Mine site environmental management experience
- Government experience within DELWP or EPA would be preferred
