Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical claims expert to expand their skillset and move into a team lead role! This will involve you leading and developing the claims consultants through monitoring workflow, supporting performance and acting as a point of contact for complex claims.

Key responsibilities:

• Gain an understanding of the broking area and attend renewal meetings with larger clients to expand the approach to claims handling.
• Ensure all claims within the team are paid in a timely manner.
• Optimise team cohesion, morale and performance through regular team meetings.
• Undertake Professional Development activities as outlined in training plan and ongoing development.
• Assist Claims Managers with reviewing accuracy of decline and drafting of submission to IDR/AFCA.

What you'll need to succeed

• Construction claims management experience.
• Experienced with technical classes of cover in liability or construction through underwriting, claims or broking operations.
• Highly skilled in negotiating favourable claims settlements for clients.
• Experienced in interpreting legislation and insurance policies.
