Hays is currently working alongside a Federal Government agency to recruit Case managing professionals Across APS5 and APS6 banding

Your new role

You will be tasked with:
  • Undertaking end to end case management activities, subject to appropriate line manager input and oversight.
  • Resolving matters through case management
  • Undertaking case management of complex AAT matters and analysing to develop options for early resolution.
  • Applying alternate dispute resolution methods and advocacy skills to resolving applications/reviews, in keeping with the model litigant principles
  • Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
  • Assessing and responding to priorities and risks

What you'll need to succeed

  • Possess strong analytical and communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills as well as the capacity to liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the agency
  • Ability to Identify and understand problems and opportunities by gathering, analysing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Ability to Identify the need to change, describes the reasons for the change and the risks of not changing
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex problems and develop solutions, including using own initiative and being solutions focussed.
  • Organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving results through taking responsibility for their own work tasks and working as a cooperative member of a team.
