Your new company are a leader in the Construction industry, trusted by professionals across Australia and New Zealand. Due to sustained growth, they are seeking a passionate, energetic, and forward-thinking Construction Sales Representative to join their team, based in Perth and the Pilbara.
Your new role
As a Construction Sales Representative, you will be visiting new and existing clients across Metro and Regional areas. You will be responsible for growing sales revenue by providing product knowledge and solutions to end users, predominantly in the construction space. You will be required to travel 1 week of the month to the Pilbara and Kalgoorlie region to grow sales revenue in the mining industry. Key responsibilities include:
• Managing your own time to optimise business development activity
• Understanding your customer needs and requirements, and acting on those to drive revenue
• Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects within your assigned territory
• Liaising at site and office levels in a multi-tier sales process involving a mixture of technical and commercial conversations with clients
• Managing sales processes through distributor
What you'll need to succeed
• You are an accomplished Sales Professional with a strong understanding of the Construction industry
• You have the ability to secure clients and maintain existing relationships
• You bring a positive attitude and energy
• You can work autonomously and set your own goals
• Fantastic communication skills-both verbal and written
• A customer centric approach, ensuring your clients have a great experience dealing with you
• The ability to negotiate proposals and contracts
