Work with one of the largest Local Governments in Australia, a leading employer on the Sunshine Coast Region, seeking a Roadside Asset Engineer to join their Civil Asset Management Branch with an immediate start available in a long-term contract role.

Your new role

• Lead and manage asset planning for all roadside assets including pathways and kerb and channel, including asset monitoring, condition assessments and strategic performance.
• Oversee the Roadside Assets Asset Management Plan including annual the improvement plan.
• Manage all databases for roadside assets updates.
• Manage and prepare reports on network performance for reach type of roadside assets.
• Initiate and coordinate high level research and modelling strategies, making well informed recommendations.

What you’ll need to succeed

• BA Engineering (civil) or equivalent relevant qualifications.
• Substantial knowledge and experience in total asset management of roads and drainage infrastructure including roadside assets.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse technical issues, prepare technical reports and negotiate/implement recommendations including cost estimation of infrastructure works.
• Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
