Your new role
An outstanding opportunity has become available for Reliability Engineer to join a very successful Maintenance team. The Reliability Engineer will provide Mechanical Engineering support to the Reliability Department predominately working with Mobile Plant equipment.
As the Reliability Engineer your duties will include;
- Conducting analytical work to improve overall performance of equipment
- Implementing standards and systems for maintenance, asset management and performance monitoring
- Completing daily investigation and weekly reporting of downtime events and diagnosis of root causes
- Develop action plans to increase mean time between failures and reduce mean time to repair
- Deliver reliability engineering reports and review engineering specifications as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering (Degree or Associate Diploma)
- Experience working on mobile plant mining equipment
- An innate sense of safety and a zero-harm attitude to your work
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to continual improvement
- A current drivers licence
