This Victorian State Government Body focuses on ensuring the safe operation of the State’s energy infrastructure. As part of a broader refresh of the organisation’s regulatory framework, a Regulatory Policy Manger position has been created, leading a team of Regulatory Policy Advisors and Regulatory Training Learning Officers.

Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Regulatory Policy with both BAU and project based work, including the following:

• Lead development, implementation and review of a broad range of regulatory policies, procedures and guidelines for numerous internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversight and development of a new team of regulatory advisors
• Assisting with advice and capacity building across the organisation in regulatory matters
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will have demonstrated experience and capability with the following:

• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in liaising with stakeholders across an organisation at differing levels
• Experience within a Regulatory Policy role, ideally in an energy related context
• Experience managing a team
