Your new company
Located in Northern Sydney this Local Government Council is seeking an Project Manager to join their team.

Your new role
As Project Manager you will be required to manage the day-to-day implementation of multiple and complex capital works projects including:

  • The assessment of risks and support in the preparation of mitigation plans
  • The preparation of Project Plans and tender documentation
  • The administering of contracts, including evaluation of progress claims, variation claims, extension of time claims, and performance monitoring
  • Liaise with the consultants and contractors
  • Prepare and issue timely documentation to enable proactive project reviews, including preparation of regular cost reports, project status updates, construction photographs and compliance reporting

What you'll need to succeed
  • Tertiary professional qualifications in a relevant field, such as Project Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience relating to footpaths or open spaces
  • Sound knowledge and proven experience in Project Management including the planning and delivery of capital works projects in the public and/or private sectors
  • Experience working on Facades
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects to meet expected time, cost, quality, safety and environmental targets
  • Sound communication ability and experience in achieving good relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants and contractors
