Project Manager - Timetable & Change

As a Project Manager you will lead & coordinate all aspects of timetable change implementation activities.

Your new company
This well-known Rail Government Organisation and one of Australia’s largest Regional Public Transport is currently seeking an experience Project Manager to ensure concurrent projects are managed proactively, with a focus on early identification of risks, early consultation of potential timetable changes and their project dependencies.

Your new role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Plan, coordinate, track and lead Timetable Change Projects ensuring that projects are completed on time and all elements associated with the project are accomplished.
  • Develop effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including representatives of the public transport government agencies and all transport operators.
  • Produce detailed, meaningful and targeted presentations and communication plans to inform and influence internal and external stakeholders and passengers of change.
  • Responding to changes efficiently in scope / T-minus timeframes.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful person will have relevant qualifications in project management and/or change transformation management or a similar relatable discipline. You will also have relevant project management experience including ability to plan using project management methodology and/or associated software as well as highly developed written and verbal communication skills, both, including an ability to prepare high level reports/business cases for internal/external parties along with demonstrated ability to tailor communication style to suit a variety of different audiences.
