My client is a leading scientific manufacturer servicing multiple markets including biotech, pharmaceutical and food and beverage. An opportunity has opened up in a Production Engineer capacity for someone who is hands on, proactive and able to assist on project delivery in an efficient and high-quality manner.
Your new role
As a Production Engineer, you would be sitting under the Manufacturing Engineering manager as part of an existing team. Working on a number of different projects, core components of your role include:
- Production and project work, liaising with production and R&D team members on a wide scope of work
- Actively implementing new methodologies and materials to ensure projects are completed to scope in a cost and quality effective manner
- Ensuring integrity of production documentation, using industry best production processes
- Working in line with internal and external quality management systems (QMS)
What you'll need to succeed
- Technical qualifications in Engineering (Bachelor level or higher)
- Existing industry experience, with at least 5 years as per client request
- Demonstrable expertise in manufacturing methodology including Lean and Continuous Improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the purpose of communicating engineering findings to a technical and non-technical audience
