Your new company
The business area of this Federal Government client are responsible for supporting a wide range of program-related ICT products and services owned by the department. Servicing more than 20,000 users and more than a million citizens through their ICT platforms. The Branch delivers operations services for a large number of applications, servicing both internal and external stakeholders.

Your new role
This team manages and supports the technological systems which deliver programs for the Department, as well as for multiple other Australian Government agencies and departments.
In addition, the section also provides broad coordination services across the group such as ad-hoc audit reporting of system usage, management of central reference data, and subject matter expertise for cross-functional issues within our systems. The team take ownership of all issues/tickets passed to them from the Service Desk in accordance with pre-defined queues.
  • Escalate issues to the relevant project management/policy/programme management team.
  • Coordinate resolution across relevant project management/policy/programme management team/external departments.
  • User Acceptance Testing
  • Defect Management
  • Production Data Management

What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience within a Service Desk / IT Support position
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and tasks quickly
  • ServiceNow experience is found highly desirable
Due to the nature of this position, it is a fundamental requirement that the successful candidate either possesses or is able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
