Hays are currently partnered with a large gold mining company on their search for a Power BI reporting Analyst to join their team on a fixed term contract for the next 12 months.

Your new role
This is a really good opportunity to get exposure to every aspect of data reporting. You will be using Kimball data warehousing platform to produce rich information and data for the business. Some key responsibilities will include:

• Develop conceptual and logical data models for finance and other domains. Document the scope, requirements, and data models
• Support the existing solution in Azure & Snowflake data warehouse platform as and when required
• Create Power BI datasets and support related activities
• Use industry best practices in model design and development
• Undertake reconciliation activities to ensure reported KPIs are correct

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will have demonstrated experience in writing SQL views for undertaking data discovery and data modelling. Familiarity with DevOps Repos & Pipelines, with Role Based Access Control and deployments for Power BI.
