The Chief Controls Officer (COO) is the engine room of the Bank. It is dedicated to running, improving, and transforming the processes that deliver products and services to its customers.

The Strategy & Performance (S&P) team supports the operations business to drive operational excellence and ensure we can deliver the best possible experience for our customers. This includes the end-to-end delivery of larger transformation and productivity initiatives across our business.

Your new role

The role is a key member of the Project Management office, you will support the governance process and will help to uplift the maturity of the Program Management office.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, and experience meeting hard deadlines to develop their delivery career in a supportive environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a PMO support environment within a banking or financial services setting, with exposure to delivery projects
  • Have exceptional organisation and planning skills
  • Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communications
  • Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
  • Show an eagerness to learn and grow their career within a delivery team environment
  • Is a proactive and driven self-starter who can take a short brief and run with it
  • Highly proficient skills in MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
