A 6-month opportunity has become available for a Planning Officer working in the state government space.
Your new company
This State Government Agency based in Western Sydney are in the key work stages on a pivotal infrastructure development project within NSW and are looking to bring on a Planning Officer to be a crucial part in the support of precinct planning requirements.
Your new role
The Planning Officer will take a key role in a major infrastructure project within a significant new Western Sydney development. You will work on a wide range of planning matters, project management needs and be directly involved with key precinct planning works. You must be able to manage the delivery of competing assessment project outcomes whilst managing the different and competing interests of various external agencies, stakeholders, and community expectations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have an understanding of precinct planning processes and be able to support senior staff and assist with communication and report writing as required. You will also assist in the management of projects and identification of potential issues arising.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a highly competitive salary of $54-58 per hour + Super dependant on experience as well as an initial 6-month contract (likely to extend).
