This leading Australian company who are the largest in their field are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This great inner-city location is easily accessible by public transport and is just a short walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants.
Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system
- Manual timesheet processing - high volume
- Payroll processing
- Interpretation of various awards
- Handling payroll queries
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- End to end payroll experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with award interpretation
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a large team
- Available to commence on short notice however all notice periods will be considered
