Part Time Switchboard Operator

An international Professional Services company that specialise in engineering, design, planning, project management and consulting services. They cover all aspects of the Built Environment and have participated in projects in over 160 countries. Based in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD they are now looking to grow their award winning team.

Your new role
They are looking for a Switchboard Operator to join the team ASAP. This role will be a temporary opportunity and be part time hours. The hours required will be 12pm - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. .This role has the strong possibility of going permanent. You will have numerous responsibility and duties, including, however not limited to;
  • Using Touchpoint technology, answer internal and external calls for all lines (Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Singapore)
  • Liaise with fellow interstate, international switchboard operators and key contacts across all offices
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of key clients, markets, projects and update records with this information
  • Updating records on office information including meeting rooms, key contacts, local events, etc
  • Monitor Operators Inbox and respond to requests within agreed time frames
  • General administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed
This role is very important for the business as you will be the first point of contact for all lines (Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Singapore.) It will benefit your application if you have;

  • Previous experience in a reception or switchboard role
  • Previous administration experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The highest level of organisational skills
  • An ability and willingness to work both as part of a team and autonomously
  • Professional and positive phone and face to face manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication and presentation
  • The highest level of attention to detail, efficiency and initiative when performing tasks
  • Intermediate MS Word/Excel skills
