Hays Education is a well established recruitment supplier of permanent and temporary staff of Early Childcare Centres and Pre-schools across Sydney. We provide educators to a large range of centres including not-for-profit, private and council services. Due to the increased demand in the Education market our Childcare recruitment experts are looking for a childcare Cook to join our team. Located in Brookvale, Northern beaches.

Your new role

This is an on going contract for 6 weeks with opportunity of becoming permanent. In this position, you will be responsible for the catering for all the children at the day-care centre alongside an assistant in the kitchen. Your duties will include but will not be limited to

  • food preparation and cooking,
  • plating, presentation,
  • kitchen maintenance and cleaning,
  • maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies,
  • menu planning and following food safety requirements.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Food Safety Handling Qualification
  • Working with Children Check
  • Experience in menu planning
  • Experience in catering for special dietary requirement
