You will be working for a global company that is providing their expertise in energy management and in energy efficiency and provides unique heating and cooling network management for cities worldwide. They develop energy services to reduce the energy consumption and carbon footprint, based on an energy audit. They provide full service starting from the improvement plan including the installation of more energy-efficient equipment to tools for monitoring consumption and managing performance to encourage to save energy. This environmentally aware company is looking to a hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their Energy team.
Your new role
In your new role as an experienced Mechanical Engineer you will be expected to manage HVAC plant construction, commissioning and operations from technical aspect. You will be mentoring less-experienced Mechanical Engineers and attend regularly team and toolbox meetings. You must have valid driver’s license, and ready to travel interstate and intrastate sites. Job duties also include conducting energy audits for clients to identify energy efficiency and financial savings. Successful candidate has performed engineering heat load calculations for equipment sizing and energy modelling purposes. What you'll need to succeed
This role is best suited to someone who has an extensive large-scale HVAC or Chillers manufacturing or installing experience and is ready to step into the Energy field.
What you'll get in return
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering 3+ years’ experience post-graduation
- Experience in building heating/cooling systems and thermal storage sizing calculations would be advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills- ability to clarify and resolve customer service issues
- Good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety responsibility specific to the area of work
- Proficient with Google and MS Suite, AutoCAD- IT Competence
- Current Driver’s license
