This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a progressive FMCG manufacturer with multiple sites across Australia.

Your new role
As the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for managing the mechanical maintenance resources to service the production lines for the site. In particular, the role is responsible for improving the mechanical standards on the site, continuous improvement innovations for safety, quality, and PM’s systems. The role will also need to assist in management of the budget and complete purchase orders for materials and parts required to ensure production needs are met. In addition, you will:

• Conducting Preventative maintenance and the scheduling of it for all plant/equipment
• Developing and maintaining site maintenance
• Communicate with production shift manager with regards to change over’s and daily equipment issues from production reports affecting performance
• Organise training and development programs for maintenance employees
• Provide feedback on problems or areas for improvement
• Coordinating with contractors regarding maintenance protocols for the plant

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a Maintenance Supervision Role
• Mechanical trade qualifications
• Experience and familiarity within FMCG, food, beverage or pharmaceutical environments is advantageous
• CI and Lean experience
• Proven people manager and leader of teams
• Full Australian working rights and living in Sydney NSW
