Join an Australian owned manufacturing and distribution business in the healthcare & cosmetics industry as their Logistics & Inventory Manager on a permanent basis in their team in Strathfield.

Your new role

In your new role as Logistics and Inventory Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain pathway for the business to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to ultimately provide an exceptional customer experience. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and managing the order of stock to meet customer demand in a timely manner, reviewing previous data to ensure the demand forecast reflects supplier lead times, seasonality etc.
• Reviewing importation and transport pricing, managing provider relationships and renegotiating prices to maximise cost efficiency.
• Minimising out of stocks, and ensuring commercial team members, operational staff and customers are informed of ETA delays and stock issues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of logistics & supply chain management, including inventory control, purchasing and demand/supply planning.
• Strong numerical skills and commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Excellent systems skills, the ability to interpret and manipulate data and create reports.
