Join an Australian owned manufacturing and distribution business in the healthcare & cosmetics industry as their Logistics & Inventory Manager on a permanent basis in their team in Strathfield.
Your new role
In your new role as Logistics and Inventory Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain pathway for the business to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery to ultimately provide an exceptional customer experience. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Planning and managing the order of stock to meet customer demand in a timely manner, reviewing previous data to ensure the demand forecast reflects supplier lead times, seasonality etc.

Reviewing importation and transport pricing, managing provider relationships and renegotiating prices to maximise cost efficiency.

Minimising out of stocks, and ensuring commercial team members, operational staff and customers are informed of ETA delays and stock issues.
What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of logistics & supply chain management, including inventory control, purchasing and demand/supply planning.

Strong numerical skills and commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Excellent systems skills, the ability to interpret and manipulate data and create reports.
