A very respected software development and implementation business that has developed a special methodology and approach to customer facing systems for the automotive, marine and motorcycle retail markets in Australia and New Zealand.

Your new role
As a Learning & Development Manager you will be the training leader of the company, providing full training to new and existing customers. You will have a mandate to build the existing team of 6 to a 20+ team which includes different training offerings both internally and externally. The learning solutions you will oversee will be a revenue generating part of the business. You will not be required to design the specific training material, or facilitate yourself – you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and implementing the growth of the team. Other responsibilities include:
  • Creating and implementing learning solutions according the business strategy
  • Manage all aspects about customer needs, employee cycle, product, service design, leadership, engagement and communication.
  • Come up with new training systems and techniques.
  • Identify the training needs

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will need relevant experience as a L&D professional and designing and implementing not only learning projects, but also with programs. In addition to that you will demonstrate to have excellent communication, team building, organisation and leadership skills. Ideally you will have worked in a commercial or consulting type environment.
