Our client is an industry leader in the Mackay Region, providing services to the region for over 30 years. They specialise in breakdown servicing, truck parts and truck repairs in the Mackay region and are currently looking for a Leading Hand.

Your new role
This new position will see you working in a local Mackay Workshop, completing the following duties:

• Providing trade guidance and assistance
• Ensure the work is completed on time and correctly
• Diagnose and assist in solving mechanical problems/ issues
• Complete job cards
• Ensure workshop is kept tidy
• Maintain high levels of professionalism when communicating with employees and customers
• Handling customer enquiries

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this position will hold the following:

• Trade Qualification – Mechanical
• Minimum a HR Truck Licence
• Previous Experience on high-way trucks and in a leading hand position

What you'll get in return
You will work within a small team in a local Mackay Workshop – the position is Monday to Friday Roster. There is an excellent salary on offer, and you will be rewarded a full-time position. This position is ideally commencing immediately.
