Labourers Needed for Port Lincoln-based Planting Team

Your new company
Our client a national not-for-profit, dedicated to restoring Australia’s native landscapes through regenerative planting, seed and seedling storing, community engagement and school programs. Due to an increase in need and budget, the Port Lincoln team are seeking team members for this year’s revegetation season.

Your new role
Your role will include the planting and care of new plants, brush cutting, seed collection, maintenance of tools and equipment, hand-weeding and supervised spraying. You will be hired on a casual basis with flexible access to work hours.

What you'll need to succeed
The below are desirable, but not essential, for success:
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Driver’s licence and reliable car
  • 4WD experience
  • Workzone Traffic Management Ticket
  • Chainsaw certificate of competency (TAFE Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of plant and pest identification
  • Knowledge of seed collection and cleaning techniques
  • Knowledge of planting techniques
  • Previous experience in a similar role&/or environment
