Insurance Internal Dispute Resolution Specialist

Your Role
An Internal Dispute Resolution (‘IDR’) Specialist working in the Insurance space is an expert in resolving Insurance Selling and Cancellation IDR disputes received directly from the customers or via authorised third parties. Insurance IDR Specialists are required to conduct thorough investigations of disputes and engage key internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes that are balanced between customer and business needs.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
  • Effectively respond to/action the Insurance complaints queue while utilising strong networking skills to facilitate the most effective & efficient resolution
  • Manage and escalate urgent complaint requests as required
  • Investigate root cause of each complaint/ query to determine best cause of action
  • Follow up on complaint cases, requests and issues within appropriate SLA
  • Positively engage with stakeholders as required in the resolution of customer complaints
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance and K&D to facilitate successful outcomes for CMT
  • Seek input from other internal departments to incorporate into issue resolution
  • Maintain cross-skill capabilities across all CMT policies and procedures and systems

  • Proven administrative skills and ability to maintain and update records diligently
  • Understanding of LFS operational processes, procedures, technologies and relevant legislation (preferred)
  • Experience in Insurance selling or in finance (preferred)
  • Experience in conflict management
