Your new company
Our client is a reputable Gold Coast boutique law firm specialising in a wide variety of areas of law. Due to the firm’s continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Immigration Lawyer/Migration Agent to join their team to head their immigration work on a full-time, permanent basis. This role will support another Lawyer who is going on maternity leave at the end of the year, but the firm has plans to continue growing their immigration team.

Your new role
Your new role will see you working on and managing a variety of migration matters whilst developing and maintaining strong client relationships. Tasks could involve:

• Temporary and permanent visa applications
• Administrative Appeals Tribunal applications
• Judicial review proceedings
• Conduct client interviews and meetings
• Preparation of court documents and correspondence to third parties
• Promote and grow the firm’s immigration workload

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered you will have a minimum of 2 years post-admission experience working in Migration law. You will also have:

• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
• Ability to manage various files at a time
• Experience in both migration law and another area of law would be desirable
