Your new role
- Possess exceptional commercial acumen, demonstrated through sourcing and ongoing management of high-value agreements.
- Lead the development of innovative, value-driven multi-year category strategies by leveraging deep category knowledge, market intelligence, awareness of technological developments, emerging markets awareness and a detailed understanding of business needs.
- Coordinate gathering of market intelligence and analysis by the team as input into category strategies.
- Develop strong relationships with internal business leaders and key stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate these into Supply needs.
- Monitor applications of Procurement category management processes within the team to support compliance and other requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within Procurement and Category Management is highly advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to influence, lead and build relationships across teams
- Superior problem-solving skills with proficiency in ERP Systems and Microsoft Suite Applications
- A strong understanding of sourcing techniques and strategies, and knowledge of innovative sourcing methodologies.
- Show initiative and work with minimal direction, being resourceful and proactive in your approach
- A strong desire to constantly improve and push boundaries in technology, process and value driving initiatives.
