Your new role
Within the Colleague Services team, you will deliver a great colleague experience through various channels (phone, portal cases), providing generalist advice and support on HR related policies, processes and systems.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Providing timely and accurate advice to colleagues in relation to People & Culture processes and policies
  • Promoting self-service through Knowledge Articles
  • Facilitate effective links between all relevant People & Culture teams
  • Accurate data input of RTM tasks
  • Work effectively with peers to understand the issues to be solved
  • Coach colleagues on People & Culture processes and policies
  • Monitor processes and suggest improvements to team ways of working
  • Meet agreed SLAs regarding service delivery through various channels (phone, email and workflow portal)
  • Communicate effectively to obtain a shared understanding of priorities and deliverable
  • Meet agreed internal standards, productivity targets and customer satisfaction ratings
This is a 3-month temporary position with the view to extend. You will receive a competitive hourly rate + super! You will be expected to work a standard Monday to Friday working week.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Human Resources or relevant business discipline
  • Experience in high volume processing contact centre/operations.
  • Understanding of legislation and ability to interpret policies
  • A broad understanding of P&C functions such as ER, Remuneration & Benefits, OH&S, Performance Management etc.
  • Portal knowledge, actively managing WIP and new case volume
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office i.e.. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand Business Unit issues
  • Relationship management skills to provide solutions to Colleagues and Managers with varying degrees of knowledge
  • Negotiation and advocacy skills
