HR Administrator

6 month contract for an immediate start for a HR Administrator with a large federal government department

Your new company
Our client is one of Australia’s leading federal government departments. They have a head office based south of the Hobart CBD and have onsite parking. This is a new opportunity has that has arisen for a HR Administrator to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary basis to provide support during a very busy period.

Your new role
This busy role will see you responsible for:

  • Reporting into the People & Culture Manager
  • Provide support to the recruitment function including onboarding and inductions
  • Being the first point of contact for any HR related queries
  • Preparing and amending HR documents
  • Arranging interviews
  • Conducting reference checks
  • Organising and maintaining employee records

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered you will demonstrate the following:

  • A drive to progress your career in the Human Resources space within a nation-wide business
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Recent HR Administration experience and/or tertiary qualifications (desirable)
  • You must be professional, approachable, have excellent communication skills and time management details with attention to detail
