Your new role
Reporting to the CEO, this newly created position will see you applying a strategic mindset to the enhancement and optimisation of the businesses procurement function. Functionally, you'll be responsible for all purchasing, category management and contract management for the organisation. You'll also be leading a small procurement and R&D team to ensure the procurement function for the business is best practice. At the core of your responsibilities will be to ensure product quality, delivery and cost savings for the organisation and its franchisees are optimised.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need recent and robust experience in the procurement and management of supply chain functions in ideally a FMCG environment. You'll need excellent negotiation and influencing skills along with an in-depth understanding of contract preparation and review. You'll need strong management and leadership skills with the proven ability to deliver cost effective and optimal business outcomes.
